Trip to Cherating, Kuantan
Day 1
------
Gather at Cyberjaya office foyer about 8 am. Park our cars at basement. Two MPV used Innova and Naza Ria used. About 9 we start or journey to Cherating. stop for breakfast at Gombak, Kelantan Food Restaurant - Nice "Nasi Kerabu" and Teh-O for a start. Then continued the journey. Journey took about 4 - 5 hours stretch. Stop at Karak & Temerloh R&R for toilet/beverages/rest. This was my new experience using this road to east coast, look good - actually it may took about 3 hours there, Beware of speed traps along the highway.Normally it took about 5 hours to reach Kuantan but now less.
Reached Cherating at 1 pm. Check-in at hotel impiana Cherating. The complimentary drink - Teh Cengkih (Tea mix with spice). We lead to our rooms. Kept luggage in room. Meet in boss room for short briefing before start. Then went out for lunch.
Noon/Evening - We we stuffed with Terengganu's delicacies - such as :-
Sata, Keropok Lekor, Pais, Nasi Dagang, Sotong celup tepong and Nasi Air (Actually is like porridge in a soup, added anchovies, kang kung vagetables.) Eat all you can. ABC Trerengganu.
Evening - when back to hotel for a rest/nap for 1 - 2 hours. Salim organized "beach bowling", i hit 2 pin. Was won by opponents. Then after the game a dip in a oceans. Then move to hotel pools.
Night - we went to sea food restaurant nearby, Sea Food Tom Yam, Siakap - 3 sweet, sour and spicy. Kerang Bakar, Khailan Ikan masin, Keropok, Telur Dadar, sup campur, and water melon juice. After dinner went back to hotels - Boss with her gila gila of karaokee in a nearby pub. Sing until mid-night then i have retreat to my room - yawning all the way. So i take early excuse to go for a day.
Day 2
--------
Strolling Along the beach - see sun rise and fisherman catch fish along the beaches until 9. Then went back at Hotel pool read newpaper. Then back for bath - then for brakefast. Breakfast in Hotel's Coffee Shop. - Sausage, Egge, Baked Been, Orange Juice that's it.
Activity - Games, related to office, Colleage telephone number, other work related - such company profile, business code/company registeration, frinds jobpost. Wow we never know the important thing related to every days job, which we overlook and neglected. Moral of the story - how deep you know about the company & you friend / colleage your boss.
Then a heavy discussion about office, work related issues (Heart to heart session with boss)It was a good session
Lunch - We went to Kemamam, That day was friday. So a lot of stores/shopping/food restaurant closed on that day. We drive to area along Kijal. than u turn back to Kemaman somewhere we stop for lunch. Eat Keropok, Ikan chelup tepong, Sotong celup tepong, keropok and Coconut drink. stop by at the "store" Kemaman for shopping. Well we bought nothing coz it was too expensive. Then back to Hotels.
At hotels Then we have lucky draw - i got SONY Desktop speakers. The the highest mark - was won by my team. Prizee givng ceremony by boss. Then a walk along the beach. Viewing sun set. Then we went to karaokee session but was postpone to 8 giving time for magrib prayers.
at about 8 - 9, went to pub. Playing pools audrey tech me how. we play a few games then off for dinner at satar saafood restaurant. seafood Again ! Was good. Sent Fiza to Lagend hotel where she stayed with her hubby.
Jamming Time - Again Karaoke session, Sing a song with Boss, Fazli, Kahirul and Salim and Ila. Sang until the pub closed. Then Back to bed.
Day 3
------
After prayer went for a beach walk. Then back at hotel take a short nap. A light brakefast in room. Bath the packing for home.
Check out at 12, went back to kemaman to buy some keropok, dry salt fish and keropok lekor. Then drive to cherating beach buy dress for my wife, Boss bought me a hawaiian shirt.
Then to Pantai Teluk Chempedak - Wow after 10 years i am there again. The place was a scenic. A lot facelift happened there. Shops and Eateries. Walking path along TC beach. Wow it was a nice place to relax. I hope i coming back there if times permits.
The at 6 pm we head for home. Stop at Gambang for Magrib prayer, the continue the journey. Stop at Genting-Sempah for dinner. Then reached cyberjaya at 12.00 amSent Intan to putrajaya. Reached home about 1 am.
